During the summer of 2023, myself and my partner Kristina Gondova (@irt_in_a_bag) traveled from where she was studying in Wroclaw, Poland, through her hometown in Bratislava, Slovakia, and onwards through 6 countries on bike and public transport to get back to Scotland, where we were living.

During this time of travel and cycling, it allowed time to consider both our relationship with travel and the concept of ‘home’. Eventually, upon arriving ‘home’ in Dundee, Scotland we decided to spend the extra time and to collate the writing, poetry, photography and our experience into a book. This process is ongoing however a selection of images from the trip can be found below.

The book is aimed to be completed sometime in 2025.
